This was too good not to share.

Maybe this was just coincidence. But I don't think so.
Here's a screen grab from my gmail:

That's right, The Pork Producers sponsored Politico's coverage of Hillary Clinton's announcement of her run for presidency.
And it gets better. But to preface the "better" I'd like to remind you that the first Free Trade agreement-- NAFTA-- was signed by Hillary's dynasty predecessor, Bill Clinton.
So, the reason the National Pork Producers -- lets face it-- that's a pretty ironic political metaphor-- sponsored the daily email, was because they're advocating for passing the TPP. Here's their statement:
"** A message from the National Pork Producers Council: Since 1989, when the United States began using bilateral and regional trade agreements to open foreign markets, U.S. agricultural exports have nearly quadrupled in value and now stand at a record $152.5 billion. Exports in 2014 supported more than 1 million full-time jobs - more than half of those created in the past 10 years. Each trade agreement was made possible by the enactment of Trade Promotion Authority (TPA). The opportunity that now sits in front of the U.S., the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), has the potential to be the highest-standard, most economically significant regional Free Trade Agreement (FTA) ever negotiated.
But to seize this opportunity and close the TPP negotiations, TPA must be renewed by Congress. Learn more at**
That's a pretty one sided story. As early as 2005, when Congress was voting on CAFTA, Ohio senator Sherrod Brown stated that trade agreements had cost the US seven million jobs. And let's think about those million pork jobs-- they're probably jobs given to farm workers-- probably below minimum wage.
Now, to get serious for just a moment. I'd like to know whether Hillary supports fast-tracking the TPP and whether she's for it. A Google search strongly suggests a big yes. The book,
The Trans-Pacific Partnership: A Quest for a Twenty-first Century Trade,
states," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (Clinton, 2011) situated the TPP within the US plan for "strengthening our bilateral security alliances; deepening our working relationships with emerging powers, engaging with regional multilateral institutions; expanding trade and investment; forging a broad-based military presence; and advancing democracy and human rights."
And in a 2011 Foreign Policy editorial, Clinton said, "We are also making progress on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which will bring together economies from across the Pacific - developed and developing alike - into a single trading community..."
Watcha think? Does her history suggest she likes TPP as much as Obama? And what a joke-- suggesting that the TPP will be good for democracy and human rights, when it is a contrivance designed to increase the power and influence of transnational corporations.
Elizabeth... please.
PS. If you haven't seen it yet, here's Hillary's announcement video-- with a very fake, polyester feeling populist message
