Governance with guts is
Telling people not what they want to hear,
But what they ought to hear,
Listening not to political advisors,
But to your conscience,
And doing not what's popular,
But what's right.

It's better to do what's right
For one term
Than do what's wrong
For multiple terms.

Doing the right thing
And not getting reelected
Will leave a much greater legacy than
Doing the wrong thing
And getting reelected.
