How many of us today feel we are in a safe spot with global warming, a deterioration of the ecosystems that support us, increasing extinction levels of species and a top-down governing body that mocks the constitution that says, We the People.
Do you feel disempowered? Is that disempowerment similar to many women who feel disempowered by their spouse and their patriarchal culture?
Perhaps this has gotten better since women's liberation.
Perhaps not.
If you are of the now defunct labor class, do you ever think about the term labor? Isn't labor a feminine function? Isn't it also a process that is from the inside out that is enticed into unfolding by events occurring in the outside world? From where is this article conceived and who is receiving it? It's none other than our Psyches. What thoughts or conceptions are occurring in you right now in response to this writing?
Could it be that our suppression of the Feminine is not only the suppression of women, but of our Inner Worlds, our Psyches? Perhaps through standardized, corporate controlled education, media, and monetary system our Psyches are being disempowered and raped?
What is our Nature, or Truth, if not our Psyche? As a woman's egg unfolds into a fetus upon her marriage to sperm, then we too unfold a potential within us that unfolds in response to an external condition. Could the suppression of women mirror holographically the suppression of the Psyche as reflected in "teach to the test" methods of indoctrination?
Our relationship to the planet is that of a woman and a fetus. If Mamma dies, so do we. Plain and simple, don't you think?
Meanwhile, as we see our Mother dying, we allow our institutions (corporations) to rule over us, educate our children, while also allowing them to destroy the ecosystems that support our lives and the future generations of human beings. Could you imagine a fetus pulling out a jar of cyanide and poisoning his mother's body?
The insanity of this is hopefully obvious.
The relationship of woman to fetus is that of Earth to all creatures. What happens to us if Earth becomes a barren, lifeless planet?
We die, plain and simple.
Major change needs to happen in our system. Being ruled and ruined by sociopaths is not ok anymore. We also don't need another external Wizard to save us. As Dorothy realized in the movie the Wizard of Oz, WE need to be the change. She is the one to destroy the Witch.
OK, I realize you are afraid of dying. How did Dorothy deal with that? She threw a little water (life) on the fear of death (the witch of the west). Thus, the old biddy dissolved into steam and dust.
