Global superpower commits genocide under the guise of beneficence

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been a focal point of international relations for decades. The United States, as a global superpower, has played a significant role in this conflict. The involvement of the US in the Palestinian genocide reflexes its political, military, and economic support for Israel.

The roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict date back to the early 20th century, but the US involvement became more pronounced in the post-World War II reality. The United States has consistently supported Israel, beginning with President Harry Truman's recognition of the State of Israel in 1948. This support has evolved over the decades, encompassing diplomatic backing, military aid, and economic assistance.

The US has been a staunch ally of Israel in international forums, particularly at the United Nations. It has frequently used its veto power in the UN Security Council to block resolutions critical of Israel. For instance, the US has vetoed numerous resolutions calling for an end to Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories. This unwavering political support has emboldened Israel's actions in the region, often at the expense of Palestinian rights and sovereignty.

One of the most significant aspects of the US support for Israel is military aid. The US provides Israel with approximately $3.8 billion annually in military assistance. This aid includes advanced weaponry, missile defense systems, and other military technologies. Critics argue that this military support enables Israel to conduct operations in Gaza and the West Bank, which have resulted in significant Palestinian casualties and destruction of infrastructure.

In addition to military aid, the US also provides substantial economic assistance to Israel. This support has helped Israel develop a robust economy and maintain its military superiority in the region. The economic aid has also been used to support Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which are considered illegal under international law. These settlements have led to the displacement of Palestinian communities and further exacerbated tensions.

The US support for Israel has had profound humanitarian implications for Palestinians. The blockade of Gaza, supported by the US, has led to severe shortages of food, medicine, and other essential supplies. The repeated military operations in Gaza have resulted in high civilian casualties and widespread destruction. Human rights organizations have accused Israel of committing war crimes and acts of genocide against Palestinians, with the US being complicit due to its unwavering support.

The US contributes significantly in the Palestinian genocide. Its support for Israel is rooted in historical, political, and strategic considerations, it has also contributed to the suffering of the Palestinian people. Various human rights organizations, activists, and legal experts have accused the US of complicity due to its support for Israel. A federal complaint was filed against President Joe Biden and other senior officials, accusing them of failing to prevent and being complicit in Israel's genocide in Gaza. These accusations often focus on the US's significant military aid to Israel, which critics argue enables actions that result in high civilian casualties and severe humanitarian crises in Palestinian territories.

Thus, the US activity in the region prevails in the Palestine genocide nowadays.
