Impossibility is a well-known legal concept. If it becomes highly unlikely that the purpose of an agreement can be fulfilled, in accordance with the doctrine of impossibility, signatories thereto may excuse themselves from further performance under the agreement.
War is no longer affordable. We and this Earth are living on borrowed time. All of our attention and all of our available resources must now go toward assuring planetary stability and survival.
Therefore, member countries of the United Nations are obligated, under the legal concept of impossibility, to leave that body without delay and begin forming a new international organization, one that is given the power and the authority to create peace.
Moving on requires a clear understanding of why the United Nations failed. The core reason for failure was that a controlling oligarchy desired to profit from continuous warfare. Peace was kept out of reach because warfare was so very much more lucrative.
After WWII, certain American business interests worked to create a false impression that the Soviet Union intended to take over the world by force. The Truman Doctrine of 1947, based upon that spurious claim, turned a world that yearned for peace into warring camps. Corporate war profits have been immense ever since, continuing long after collapse of the Soviet Union. The newly created enemy is "terror," an amorphous substitute which all too conveniently crops up everywhere. So, countries that withdraw from the United Nations to form a new and effective international body should be cognizant of the fact that the group that favors war is very much alive. Centered largely in the United States, it has captured the American political system, is protected by American military, and orchestrates corporate hegemony in world trade, finance, and resource removal. The Central Intelligence Agency, along with sister organizations in other nations, operate under the direction of the group.
Peter Dale Scott, a respected academic and poet, describes the cabal that operates in secret, profits from war, and spurns peace as the "deep state." We who live in the United States must do our part for peace and survival by opposing the deep state and ending its destructive reign.
