Sydney Smoot, a fourth grader at Brooksville Elementary, shared her concerns on testing in schools with members of the Hernando County School Board at their regular meeting on March 17, 2015. Note: Sydney makes her point more clearly and articulately than the tomes of recent articles and older books (when working on a Masters' in reading) ever did for me. A little over two minutes long, this video should be mandatory watching for all parents, concerned citizens, and politicians--with the latter being required to give a talk explaining their views on this.
