Facts or Fiction on the Wall Street Occupation

Lacking credible information from the captive media, it is important that we who support the authentic Occupy Wall Street people, are armed with the truth that is available only from other sources, predominantly from the WEB.  To do so requires the effort to distinguish the truth from the false messengers.
The "occupyboardroom" site is impressive, professional and slick, one hopes with trustworthy motives and with the right sponsors.  Another of similar direction is "Dane 101", out of Madison, Wisconsin, which goes beyond the Wisconsin problems and into the broader arena of financial corruption and government indenture.
Now, possibly hazarding any popularity that I may enjoy with good people, and not wishing to be a wet blanket, I would suggest a note of caution.  Both of these sites appear quite professional, and that connotes money, which in turn means sponsors.  I would like to know who these sponsors are, other than the anonymous "the people."  Who specifically are the names behind "occupyboardroom" and what do we know about them?  I'm not clinically paranoid yet, but this graybeard Intelligence guy learned many years ago that friends of unclear motive can be more perilously embraced than clearly identified enemies.
My caution with false-flag endeavors in the U.S. was sparked by a Republican administration's behavior re 911, an administration I already disliked and did not trust.  I knew where we were before the War Powers Act, and sent individual letters to Democrat senators pleading not to permit the wars that would surely follow their approval.  Those Democrats disgraced themselves by their solid endorsement of that act which I knew then would be weaponized by the treacherous administration's gang.
So, we had a treacherous government then and since, and for the past ten years (again, forgive me, those of authentic motives) the feckless activist orgs who have accomplished not much more than organizationitis, weekend larks on the Mall, and celebration of their star personalities, all quite accommodated as nothing more than perhaps a nuisance by treacherous administrations both Republican and Democrat.  I won't detail my personal reaction to this beyond advising that I am totally sick of all this sh*t.
So now we have a "people's movement," it would appear as containing some integrity, some conscience and actual consciousness of the treacherous onus that Greed Inc as implemented by our wretched government has put upon the backs of the citizens.  And there is no doubt that such a movement is sorely needed and much overdue.  But let's take a peek at some of its would-be sponsors, read:  perhaps co-opters.
The first to move in on the action were the perennially feckless (I make exception as always to the genuine Society of Friends, and it would seem perhaps finally now the VFP) activist orgs which for the most part the Occupy Wall Street people had the good sense not to officially endorse.
Then there were co-opters such as Soros, and vague rumors of others in the exploitive financial community, and then even a patently transparent effort by Obama and his compatriots of severe partisan persuasion.
I am also a bit concerned over such as Michael Moore's appearance and endorsement, and what he expects from it, but I will personally endorse the authenticity and the value of Chris Hedges to the cause.
Then appear "people's champions" from Cuba and others with clearly Arabic names flown in from the Middle-East, and a spokesman named Vlad, with a Russian accent.  With no disrespect to my Russian, Cuban and Moslem friends, whom I treasure:   just who specifically are these individuals and what are their motives beyond some lofty pronouncements re the "people's movement."
I am proud of the authentic OWS people, and I want the movement to grow as organization-less as possible, in disregard for the typical activist nuance of message, uncontaminated by co-option, and to be a force -- at long last! -- to restore some decency in our governance.
One of the problems we now have is sufficient and credible information available from the captive media, requiring us to depend upon WEB sources of unestablished credibility.  Help us out here, my friends, we need reliable feedback on whom to discredit and whom to trust.
But for now:  Bravo genuine Occupy Wall Streeters, and may your numbers and influence increase!

Leaving behind a treacherous government now addicted to perpetual war, its limitlessly greedy and power-lusting masters, as well as the retarded albeit smirky Republicans and their evermore clonish Democrat colleagues, a braindead electorate (more...)
