Here, I am sharing my take on this issue.

What Exercise Addiction Really is?

Addictions are figured out by some indications. It can be extended to exercise the following:

  • Withdrawal symptoms in your body, such as having an urge, when you cannot captivate yourself in the activity.
  • Craving, meaning you need to increase the level of substance or behavior over time.
  • Arising conflicts in your daily life routine, such as skipping to go to work or other responsibilities, caused by the compulsion to get hooked in the addictive behavior.

Fitness professionals recommend exercise as an essential element of your daily lives, which is surely not the core part. If you're addicted to exercise, you'll experience some physical, financial and social problems and multiple behaviors.

Is Exercise a Positive Addiction?

Some researchers have counted it as a "positive addiction" because of its contribution to overall fitness. It's far away better and productive than addictions like alcohol, drug use and gambling. Exercise addicts, for instance, never indulge in such type of health-damaging activities.

Most of the times, people feel perfect and relaxed when they are finished with their daily workout. Exercise has been proven to reduce cortisol level, which is the main cause for stress response in our body. On the other side, it increases level of endorphin and other neurotransmitters that make people feel more relaxed. Exercise plays a vital role in the prevention of various diseases and other health issues. It also eliminates signs of stress disorders, depression and anxiety. Most of the people use inversion table as a remedy to curb their back pain.
