Do Some Employers Just Want to Be Sued?
A bank in Birmingham, Alabama, recently fired a longtime employee who had been on the front line in a bank robbery.
The woman had a gun put to her head and was forced to her teller station. She survived the ordeal, but was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
The bank, however, wound up firing her.

Which raises this question: Do some employers just want to be sued?
As the victim of a wrongful termination myself, I've been asking that question a lot lately. And I feel a certain kinship with Angela Whitfield, the former bank employee in this case:
