Yesterday, I was e-mailed by a well-known web site to advance their agenda of supporting AZ HB 2586 with the apparent intent of making Arizona a "safer" place to live. Later, Rep. Peggy Judd, R-Wilcox, AZ following protests, reluctantly dropped HB 2586 which would have increased the public's fear of violence within the towns and villages of southern border states to the detriment of citizens and businesses within the proposed 62 mile wide corridor.
There seems no end to the paranoia fertilized and watered by the corporate/ banking world with the sole intention of disarming the public at the same time that billions of dollars are spent for wars of aggression in the Middle East which results in murders of hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent women, children and other non-combatants in night-time assassination raids upon them. This includes rape, and mutilation. Drone attacks indiscriminately murder non-combatants as well. Collateral damage is rife.
Here at home, corporations and banks get away with breaking U.S. laws because of the extreme wealth held and controlled by these "persons." These play little if any taxes while the taxes on the middle class increase as our right to vote is compromised. The multi-millionaires and billionaires do as they please as their purchased senators and congressmen do their bidding.
Who of us can deny that Goldman Sachs exercises major control of the U.S. Government?
Who can deny that ex-Vice President Dick Cheney should have spent jail-time for violating Texas Game Laws and for his wanton disregard for the life of Harry Whittington whom he remorselessly but, accidently shot in the heart several years back? Whether a "Dick" Cheney, a Rene Strauss-Kahn or a Mitt Romney, the truth is the same.
The attitude of the greediest of the greedy is: "I don't THINK I'm above the law. I AM above the law."
Liberals and Progressive Democrats do a disservice to us all by embracing the gun-grabbing in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Obama and Eric Holder's Justice Department illegally and fatally pushed the Homeland Security BATFE and the Border Patrol, in operation "Fast and Furious," to sell guns to Mexican drug lords. The plan was to continue to falsely claim that the guns originated in illegal sales by licensed gun dealers. This would result in increasingly callous gun control and seizures of them. Meanwhile, "War Hawk" Hillary smooches the posterior of thieving Monsanto and is ready to sign the U.N.'s agreement on Arms Control (not nuclear and not control, but rather seizure of small arms) before it is even written.
Obama, with the BATFE, is stopping the sale in the U.S. of American-made World War II era M-1 Garand rifles and M-1 carbines, of historical interest and economical for use by the less than wealthy for hunting. According to Dudley Brown of NAGR, 300,000 Model 1911-.45 caliber hand-guns are also to be banned.
Laws are written for the benefit of the richest of the rich, totally in opposition to the concept of democracy and justice. The laws are sold to us and forced upon us because we liberals and progressives have bought corporate/ government promoted fear. The wealthiest of the wealthy want us to live in fear. Fear causes laws to be enacted against us all which have miniscule effects upon the very small minority of the people contributing to society's problems.
Murder is illegal. Still, regrettably, it happens. One hundred new laws, which only the average law-abiding Americans would obey, will not stop murders by the psychopaths any more than corporation-written laws will curb the greed of the psychopathic wealthiest of the wealthy. It is counter-productive for us to press for new laws designed to limit the rights of law-abiding citizens.
We must stop blindly accepting the deliberate lies of corporation dominated Federal and State agencies.
We must stop poking fingers in the eyes of law-abiding Americans who could be allies in the coming election, protecting and embracing the much-attacked U.S. Constitution and the Rights contained there. We must use our energies to defeat the plans of the greediest of the greedy: the gambling banks, mega-corporations, multi-millionaires and billionaires and the government power which they seize.
We must aid our law-abiding gun owners in defending all of our rights guaranteed by our U.S. Constitution.
