Have you seen Judge Brett Kavanaugh's own words about Roe V. Wade being the "settled law of the land?"

Read the email from Kavanaugh on Roe v. Wade Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh as a White House lawyer in the Bush administration advised against referring to the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade as the "settled law of the land," according to a 2003 email. Kavanaugh advised against calling Roe v. Wade 'settled law' while a White House lawyer

"Kavanaugh advised against calling Roe v. Wade 'settled law' while a White House lawyer"

Kavanaugh as a White House lawyer in the Bush administration advised against referring to the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade as the "settled law of the land," according to a 2003 email.

"'I am not sure that all legal scholars refer to Roe as the settled law of the land at the Supreme Court level since Court can always overrule its precedent, and three current Justices on the Court would do so,'" Kavanaugh wrote after reviewing a draft of what was intended to be an op-ed in favor of a judicial nominee."

"I view Roe v. Wade as being settled law," Collins told reporters shortly after Kennedy's retirement. "It's clearly precedent and I always look for judges who respect precedent."

Do not be swayed by the Supreme Court nominee's empty promises about "precedent" https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-features/brett-kavanaugh-roe-v-wade-697634/

I write you with aching heart about all the low income and mostly girls and women of color in USA who will die of botched back-alley abortions should Kavanaugh be confirmed to the SCOTUS. Rich women will always be able to get abortions.

I know you are Irish, and so it is very ironic to me that thousands and thousands of Irish women with dual citizenship recently traveled to Ireland to vote - successfully - for lifting the ban against abortions in Ireland and here we are in USA about to go backwward if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the SCOTUS.

I write you with aching heart about the millions of people who have "pre-existing" conditions and who will lose their health care or not be able to afford it. Almost everyone on the planet has a "pre-existing" condition.

I do not know anything about your family or social relationships, but certainly you must have friends and relatives who will be affected if they lose abortion rights and other reproductive health care such as birth control and who have "pre-existing" conditions.

Please hear the cries of my heart and the cries of millions of people here in the USA,

Sheila
