"If anyone should have stood
their ground it was (Trayvon Martin). Instead,
he's underground." -- Rev.
R.B. Holmes, Jr., vice-chairperson of Florida's special task force
investigating the shooting of Trayvon Martin
Not
that it's necessary, but here's a tip for any budding serial
killers out there. If you need a place in
which to hone up your kill skills, move to Florida, or, more specifically, to the
town of Sanford. There, thanks to the
combination of a bodaciously simple-minded state law and a selectively unmotivated
police force, getting away with murder in Sanford, Florida seems quite simple. You just have to pick the "proper" targets and
go about it the "right" way.
This is how you get in those
valuable practice sessions: Just hang
around Sanford and wait for some random black male to happen by -- preferably
one wearing a hoodie. Next, simply call him a "coon" or something of
that sort. As he approaches to slap the taste
out of your mouth, just " Stand
Your Ground," gun him down and quickly yell "self-defense."
