Corruption distorts the ethical complexion of a society. Physically, human suffers a disease in wake of careless in his life-style, eating up the rotten foods, and usage of impure drinks. Consequently, he confronts the grave threats to his physical life if he ignores to therapy the rooted ailment. It contaminates the society and fills it with the dirty social evils. On account of these evils, it decimates the living cells in form of both incumbent personals and the departments where their performance decreases. Ultimately, the sympathetic actor rush to have pain and deem of the cures that could promptly eradicate the destructive  tendencies in the social hierarchies. In actuality, the corruption in the long run expunges the society from the face of the planet. That is why it is severely condemned in the divine commandments, "don't reduce the measurements of things in dealing the commodities with people and also don't assert in the planet, making upsurge." 26:183 accordingly, the upsurge in societal dealings is forbidden.

Likewise, usurping others' possession whatsoever is discouraged. Accordingly, it is commanded, "don't eat your possessions, undergoing illegal ways and means."  The aforesaid commandment directly denies any sort of misconduct that has negative impacts on the fellow human being's social as well as economic interests. Ironically, the corruption is rigorously entrenched in Pakistani society, ranging from state departments, financial and trade corporations, to the domestic socio-economic interaction.

Causes of Corruption

The causes behind the menace and corruption are diverse;

Firstly, the human discerns from all other living beings on the grounds of having distinctive receptivity. Furthermore, it is accoladed with being the crown of creation on the basis of ethics it adorns, societal norms it forms, and the traditional values it inherits from the ancestors. It prospers if it follows the above-mentioned canon otherwise it is prone to deterioration. The corruption alike all other social evils infiltrates in the file and ranks of any nation. Inevitably, this infiltration descends from top to the bottom.

Secondly, the dull and apathetic leadership, legally or illegally, captures the reins of power and ultimately remain direction-less in the policy formulati on. It paves the way for the inventory of the corrupt courtiers. They cause the major set-backs in the strides, aimed at the national development and the income growth. These elements due to the lack of capabilities and sincerity remain willing to do all what they can.

They put on the market the national assets on cheaper rate, seriously blowing to the national economy.  The nationals are sold to the foreigners for sake of the personal gains. They conspire to distribute among themselves the foreign aids and loans acquired from the international organizations such as IMF and the World Bank. The elites both civil and military put the national finance on extravagance for the luxurious life-style.

This begets the negativity into the heart and mind of employees, working in the different departments and ministries. Surprisingly, these young officers and working-servants intending to be honest are silently put to Mort.

Thirdly, the foreign hands secretly involve in deteriorating the target society in every sphere of life. These powers utilize the economic gains as a tool. On one hand, they attempt to deteriorate the economic potential of the target and then the international monitory organizations are geared to influence the power venues of the said sort of particular state. Usually, the military dictatorship is acutely encouraged and backed to overthrow the existing regimes so that the undercover agendas may successfully be accomplished. Under the autocratic military iron rule, the norms and values of the target state are badly hurt and undermined.

Through this dictatorship, surprisingly, one segment of the society is targeted. To a particular extent, this group, ethnic or sectarian, is punished and pushed to wall under the umbrella of the state departments. Absolutely, this instrumental scheme is pursued in pursuit of making it planted as fifth-column which can be willing to work for the foreign powers. Through this process, the integrity of the nation is jeopardized and even chaotic situation is created that is detrimental for both economic and internal stability of any state.

Finding opportunity, this segment leaves no stone upturned in taking revenge and plays robust role in usurping all what strengthens the state. On the parallel hand, the civil service, the back-bone of every government, is engaged on certain refresher course abroad where they are convinced to become apathetic to the national interests.

The illegal militias, so-called religious organizations and ethnic movements, are also utilized as the last nail in TABOOT of the state. Consequently, the national departments and the responsible personnel become waned. This approach has given the new momentum to the realistic power schemes among the states. Anyhow, under the said circumstances, the corruption reaches an apogee.

Hence, crippling the target both economically and internally, the powers seek to influence its foreign as well as domestic policies that are devised to make it isolated from the countries, the most sympathetic towards it. Hereafter, the target country declines further in spectrum of the sustainability, weakening on both macro and micro levels.
