Constituent Response made a splash earlier in the week with their previously unveiled Bailout Vote Map. The Bailout Vote Map allows visitors to http://www.constituentresponse.com to easily--with the click of a mouse--discover how their Senators or Representative voted on the Bailout. It also provides information on how to contact your Senators or Representative.
The new Constituent Response ads, many of which are customized to target those incumbents who voted for the Bailout, carry the message, "Vote "no" on incumbents who voted "yes." The ads, which are being made available at no cost, were produced at no cost--by volunteers who are opposed to the Bailout.
CRT's anti-Bailout Campaign Ads
Stephen Bone, Executive Captain of the Constituent Response Team, points out that up to nine percent of voters are currently telling pollsters they remain undecided. He suggests that it is not too late to make an impact on these voters by introducing them to the Voter Bailout Map or an ad that informs them that their Senators or Representatives voted against them on the Bailout.
The free campaign ads were the second project of the Constituent Response Team, which was designed to give those in the Internet community a way to speak out on the issue of the Bailout, without having to commit substantial time and effort to art design and coding. Constituent Response hopes that opposition candidates will also make use of the ads or direct their activists to view them at http://www.constituentresponse.com/ads.
