Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Joe Biden juxtaposed with Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Here's a question with regards to "trust". Can the US and its European vassals be trusted to implement agreements they signed with adversaries?
We're all quite aware the US government broke every treaty it signed with the indigenous Indian tribal people.
Now it's come to light the Minsk Agreements of 2014-15 brokered by the German and French governments to settle the disputes between the Ukrainian government and the breakaway regions of Lugansk and Donestsk in Eastern Ukraine were never intended to be implemented. It was only meant to buy time for the Ukraine government to build up its military.
Lately this has been confirmed by former Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and former French President Francois Hollande in separate interviews each gave to the press.
In fact Russian President Vladimir Putin has said the Minsk Agreements not being implemented was one of the reasons he launched the Russian special military operation in Ukraine last February.
We know Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan lost WWII and forced to surrender unconditionally to the victorious allied powers.
That's always been the way with the victors dictating end of war terms to the loser.
But agreements signed with adversaries whether with the Indian tribes or breakaway areas of Ukraine was made by relative "equals" where both sides were suffering losses.
Unfortunately the "indians" were vastly outnumbered and forced to cede away most of the lands they inhabited and settle on reservations-gulags- dictated by the US government.
As to the Ukraine government and the breakaway areas in the Donbass the war in Ukraine didn't have to happen if the Minsk accord was honored. It wasn't. And now we see the carnage that's resulted.
The Kiev regime despite the $billions in weaponry it has received by the US and the EU it is delusional thinking to believe Ukraine can be victorious over Russia.
