There is a lot of talk about electability these days with much of the media and Establishment Democrats claiming, without evidence, that Joe Biden is the only candidate who can beat Donald Trump. That position has been ably rebutted over and over again (see here, and here, and here, and here, for example).

Virtually every poll asks the electability question (which candidate can do best against Trump?), and Biden always comes out on top because too many voters see taking down Trump as the most important objective in November, and too many voters have been brainwashed into believing that only Biden can beat Trump.

But what if the electability question were addressed head on by the pollsters? What if they asked:

" If 'electability' wasn't a concern for whom would you vote? "

Well, one California pollste r is doing just that, and the results might shock you:

In other words, once the bogus "electability" issue is disposed of, Biden loses 7 points, or 35% of his total, falling into a fourth place tie with Buttigieg, and falling from 4 points behind Sanders to 13 points behind Sanders. Sanders gains 2 points, and turns a 3 point lead into a 5 point lead.

Perhaps it is time the other pollsters begin asking this obvious follow-up question as well.
