A passenger bus exploded at approximately 3:00 am on October 13th. Seven people were killed and one was injured. The explosion occurred in front of the FAO office, in Yangon's Insein Township. The bus was No(132) passenger bus which runs from Taik Kyee to Yangon's Thirimangalar Market.
According to a witness the explosion was caused by gas. Because petrol is too expensive, people are using natural gas which is cheaper. Gas explosions occur often in Burma, killing many people in Burma.
Bus No 45 exploded on September 9th, injuring many people.
