Joe Biden is starting to get irritating. This "will he or won't he?" game is tiresome. Surely by now he's decided whether or not he will "honor his dying son's request" (cringe-worthy statement if there ever was one) and make it official. Is he waiting for Hillary's never-ending Ben Ghazi hearing testimony begins Thursday so he can capitalize on her adverse publicity, if you -- in fact -- believe it is adverse?
The longer Biden waits, the less decisive he appears. I wonder if his handlers realize this? He doesn't present himself as a strong candidate with a mission and fire in his belly to make a difference in the Oval Office. Certainly not as ready to start a revolution as, say, Bernie Sanders is, as brilliantly parodied by Larry David on SNL Saturday night. If you missed it, watch it here, it's hilarious.
The only clarity in the presidential race thus far is Donald Trump, who continues to defy all logic by widening his lead ahead of all the other GOP candidates. Who'd a thunk it? The Republican establishment is incinerating before our eyes, which is a good thing. But what will rise from the ashes? Just when we thought it couldn't get worse than the Bush Crime Family..."
Meanwhile, our neighbors to the North are facing a Nail-biter as Harper, Mulcair, and Trudeau wait to see who the people will elect Prime Minister. Can Trudeau restore liberalism to the Great White North? Maybe it's not too late for us, either.
