Fiction oftentimes speaks louder than non fiction for its able to put us into the hearts and soul's of characters that face various situations. This book is a gold mine.....and the interview we will be doing with the author on Monday Evening at 6:00 PM should be nothing less than being a diamond in the rough

ENVISION THIS: Fiction about anti-logging activism that promotes knowledge, inspires passion, and reveals the adventure and courage involved.

Our guest, Earl James,  author of "Bella Coola: The Rainforest Brought Them Home," is an activist for a more sustainable future.  He is a non-Profit Development Consultant, Director of Development of Citizens for Global Solutions, member of New Mexico Environment and Health Coalition, New Mexico Environmental Law Center, bioneers, and former staff member of the New Mexico Environmental Law Center.

We will be discussing the courage and commitment it takes to be an activist and the costs and benefits of such a life to our relationships, careers, lifestyles, safety, psyches, and spirits.  All of these are explored in depth in this exciting novel.  So, we will also discuss the power of fiction to effectively reveal these costs and benefits and draw the reader into relationship with this larger, deeper world.

Earl's novel centers around anti-logging activism in The Bella Coola Valley, a gem of natural beauty within the Central Coast of British Columbia that has been home to the the Nuxalk (pronounced new-hawk) Nation for the last 10,000 years.  Merry and Burl loved the book which goes deep into the motivations, relationships, psychology, and risks of dedicated activists.

You can check out information about the book, order it, or learn more about Earl at www.earldjames.com .
