I take responsibility or blame for this limp graphic-- rob kall.

It's recently been disclosed that a Ritz Carlton in Florida accomodated a British family, the Morgans, who insisted they not have contact with dark skinned people or people with accents. Apparently, there were a few local bad management calls and the hotel chain has banned the Morgans and repudiated any accommodations the Morgans managed to pressure the hotel into providing.
Now we have Arizona, where the most hateful law in recent history has been enacted and supported by its unelected governor and at least one US senator, John McCain.
This law requires that police check papers of anyone who is suspect and any citizen can call for a paper check, basically, with the threat that any citizen can sue any police officer who does not pursue papers.

A second generation born American latino will have to carry papers. An Italian who might be mistaken for a Latino will have to carry papers. It could happen to anyone, so literally everyone will have to carry papers. (I'm hoping Latinos sic the police on the whitest, most racist rednecks and teabaggers.)
This is an abomination, one of the most despicable right wing crimes against humanity to be put into legislation. Arizona voters have caused this to happen. Arizona deserves a very strong, fast blowback.
If you belong to an organization that holds conferences, have the organization notify Arizona that it will no longer be holding meetings in Arizona as long as law is in place. If there's a conference being held in Arizona, let them know you won't be going. Cancel your registration if you already registered. If you had travel plans to Arizona, cancel them.
Someone's going to come up with a list of Arizona companies and products. Don't do business with them.
ON Facebook, there's a group--Boycott Arizona For Passing Anti-Immigration Law.
Join it.
