Hundreds of thousands of children without health insurance. Slash! Children and adults with special needs. Slash! Students from poor and working class families unable to afford college. Slash! Diligent workers faced with losing their jobs, their homes, their futures. Slash! The Depression is attacking California. Does the Governor of California address his constituents with the empathy, seriousness, and, yes, class, of FDR, inspiring a commitment to work with us to improve conditions for everyone? No, he takes a knife and tapes a political "slash" film, marking the death of humanitarianism, and, frankly, sanity.

Hello? Even as Hollywood is losing much of its own industry to other states, and skilled craftsmen are joining state workers and laid off corporate employees in the unemployment queue, Arnie is dusting off his SAG card and his trademark smile to return to the camera and cheer the "cuts" that have brought misery to so many helpless victims. His spot on Twitter (http://twitvid.io/abv1) wielding a weapon and congratulating selfish Californians for thinking only of their own wallets surpasses even Hollywood's penchant for bad taste. Auditioning for your next job after 2010, Arn? Too bad you won't be joining so many of us in the unemployment line, then maybe you might remember that knives not only cut budgets, but wound people; people who deserve a life as comfortable and secure as yours.

It's time to terminate the Terminator's term. Send Arnie back to Hollywood to fight pretend villains and revel in the glory of acting as a pretend savior. Because, in real life, Governor, you're not.
