Any GOP politician who votes against healthcare for all is not pro-life

In watching Keith Olbermann's "Special Comment' on the eve of the health care summit which is to take place tomorrow, the story of his father while tragic was not the story I clung to since both of my parents are deceased. The both of them had health insurance and felt great pain at the end of their lives. My father died of cancer and my mom died of a massive heart attack in the mid-nineties. I cannot fathom how those without deal with end-of-life issues when they have NO health care and insurance to speak of.

One word Mr. Olbermann cited of those who oppose health care for all was ghouls. In searching Dictionary.com, one definition of this word is, "a person who revels in what is revolting" Isn't PAC money something to revel in as one looks to their own re-election or election? How many politicians have whored up to health insurance companies in order to retain or obtain congressional seats? One only has to go to OpenSecrets.org to trace where corporate donations to candidates are coming from.

With the recent Supreme Court ruling giving corporations' freedom of speech, it is off to the races. You can guarantee those in the health insurance industries will target those who go after them. One must wonder if those who are truly for health care for all see this decision racing upon them in their rear mirrors.

What is also revolting to the senses is that honest and hard working Americans have had the door shut on them when it comes to basic health care in this country. We call ourselves the land of the free: What freedom can be found when some insurance company says sorry we cannot cover this or that bill? What freedom can we have when the politicians we send to our House and Senate side with these conglomerates? I just do not get it.

The voices of those who support either single-payer or the public option have been drown out as of late by the "Tea Party' movement and I would love to ask them this one question: Where was your voice when we have spent close to $1 trillion dollars on both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Those of you who remained silent followed a president in George W. Bush who stated that we would be seen as liberators for the people of Iraq. To that I add, hah!

Well, the American people need liberation from health insurance companies RIGHT NOW! Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator, but so are the health insurance companies. Be it WellPoint, United Health Care or Blue Cross, or the late Saddam Hussein all have/had the power to end one's life.

If these politicians cannot see fit to pass some form of healthcare bill to save human lives here in the United States, will we see a die-off? With insurance companies seeking to raise rates, I think so.

You will not hear the stories of Keith Olbermann's dad or my parents, but people will continue to die in obscurity. These voices of the weakened will all be crying out for help and yet, the politicians who were sent to Washington, DC will only hear the voices of those who contribute to their campaigns. Instead of the death-knells of good Americans, they will solely listen to the cha-ching of their election or re-election campaigns.
