An Open Letter to U.S. President Joe Biden:

You Can Prevent The Palestinian Genocide

Dear Mr. President:

You are in the midst of a series of unintended circumstances that are old and lingering, the majority of them born of the hubris, arrogance and great-power chauvinism of America's triumphalist "exceptionalism." To begin with the present bloodshed in Palestine and Israel is one of those consequences that successive U.S. administrations - both Democrat and Republican - created, egged on with an almost fanatical blind- bias when it comes to Israel.

Over the past two weeks Israel has relentlessly bombed the Gaza Strip in response to Hamas, the legitimately elected government in Gaza that you and your western allies branded a terrorist organization, deadly attack on Israeli soil. Of course, thanks to the annual $3.5 billion that the U.S. sends to Israel, bombing a defenseless people in a cowardly retributive act of collective punishment, is easy as shooting fish in a barrel. Gaza, for the past 16 years has been blockaded on land, sea and air, fenced off and isolated.

And, yet Mr. President, your response is to send more arms and American money to help prolong, not end, the bloodshed. Right now, Sir, at approximately $13 million a day that's a humongous amount of moola to dish out to a country, while you ignore the real day-to-day problems here at home. So, how much arms and ammunitions are enough to satisfy the Middle East's insatiable munitions glutton?

Moreover, this situation would be indeed laughable if thousands of innocent Palestinians were not being murdered en masse each and every day with nary a peep of condemnation from you and your servile "allies." You see Sir, the thing is that the "enemy" is one of the most impoverished populations on this earth, without access to medical supplies or clean drinking water, who scrap together their crude rockets from the unexploded ordnance the Israelis left behind. I believe that more and more arms are the LAST thing Israel needs right now.

I actually have a list of things that are needed in the Gaza Strip that is home to over 2.5 million people, although Israel seems hell-bent on reducing that population significantly by huge ethnic cleansing models. Since you, Great Britain (America Lite), France, Germany and the so-called European Union, cannot now be considered "honest brokers" there is a need for TRUSTED negotiators, mediators, peace-makers, diplomats, and humanitarian aid (in Gaza).
