An Ex-Republican to all disillusioned Republicans - time to dump the Party!

Since 2000 the Republican Party has faded from my favor. By 2008 I could no longer support their platform and I abandoned the Party, hence the reason for this message. I know many fine Republicans who are good citizens, kind and caring, tolerant, law abiding contributors to our country. They are struggling to come to grips with their train wreck radical Republican Party. They are searching their souls, and attempting to protect their core values that are being challenged daily. Guilt by association gnaws on their minds. They know their party no longer has their best interests at heart.

They are disheartened to realize that the Republicans:

lost their moral compass

made greed their god

turned their backs on: the less fortunate, women, people of color, children, veterans, the disabled, elderly, the LGBT, the middle class, and the list goes on

pander to the 1% & corporations - less taxes and diminished government oversight

promote bigots, racists, narcissists, misogynists, homophobes, and bullies

lost sight of the true foundation of our Country's Constitution

deny people a living wage, and are intent on eliminating healthcare for the needy

deny the blatant evidence of climate change

are incapable of dealing in a bipartisan manner for the good of the country

promote voter suppression -- they lack respect for the fundament rights of all Americans

turn their backs on immigration solutions

prefer lies over the truth

covet their guns over the lives of children

Republican politician's focus on the country's future has eroded. They no longer have an interest in supporting the needs of the masses. They ignore the voter's wishes, and have also turned their backs on loyal commonsense Republicans. I abandoned the Republican Party now it's your turn!
