Donald Trump has encouraged people to punch people in the face, specifically, by saying he'd like to do it himself. He has also said "in the old days (like Nuremburg 1933?) that (protester) would end up on a stretcher." One Trump supporter recently took The Donald seriously and punched a black man at a Trump rally, after which he was set upon by Trump's "security" personnel.
The pony-tailed (giving all long-haired people a bad name) bastard was specifically doing what Donald Trump has encouraged him and all his followers to do. No, it wasn't a "beating," as the headline to the story said, which caused some commenters to opine that people had an "agenda" against Trump. But it was clearly a criminal assault.
It does not appear that the black man was arrested, only evicted from the rally. But there is no news that the long-haired country boy who threw the punch was in any way disciplined.
And isn't it telling that Trump's "security" people were wearing brown shirts!? SA (Sturmabteilung) in progress.
And Trump has the nerve to say that he was unaware that the current president of Mexico has likened his behavior to that which brought Hitler and Mussolini to power? Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has told Trump straight up, "We're not paying for that f**king wall." Other former Mexican President Calderon has said virtually the same, without the f-bomb.
But Trump is going DOWN. He cannot win as much as 45% of the popular vote in a general election, can't even win 50% of his own Party's votes. He's a racist Mafia Associate who bullies women and the disabled. He threatens the press and its personnel.
He knows nothing about government. He has such contempt for the Republican establishment, he will probably be unable even to choose a credible running mate. Chris Christie is the only Republican of any stature still under his spell! One might expect him to tap fellow businessperson Carly Fiorina, but she would turn him down flat, given his attitude toward women.
But the real kicker is that he doesn't want to be President of the US, he wants to own the top-end real estate and casinos in Havana when normalization is complete. The debate moderators just haven't worked up the cojones to interrogate him about it! Not even George Stephanopoulos, who otherwise tore him apart night before last (Tuesday) after the primaries.
The job of President pays $465,000, about 1/5 of the salary of the average NCAA Div. 1 head football coach, and less than twice the minimum contract for a rookie MLB player, and comes with a million headaches, with the survival of the planet on the line. The only thing on the line for that coach, besides his $2-point-something million salary, is center and guards and tackles and ends, and a good bowl at the end of the season.
He'll make billions in Cuba, which will be the greatest new capitalist-market opening this century. Lucky Luciano and Meyer Lansky, Carlo Gambino, Fat Tony Salerno, Big Paulie Castellano and John Gotti Sr. are all flipping in their graves with envy.
Why don't we just elect Don Whoever-it-is-now that bosses the Gambino Family? Might as well, he'll surely have Trump's ear.
Yes, some Democrats, and some Republicans, have agendas to stop Trump from his plans to turn this country into a fascist dictatorship (that providing his campaign is not just a smokescreen so that his real, ultra-capitalist, completely unregulated winner-take-all business can proceed, which I argue that it is). Well, uhh, bully for them!
