It is the season for politics. The U.S. has two parties; even so common thinking should expect many more than two. In addition, the U.S. legalizes briberies under the name of campaign finance / contributions. No one is honest enough to look himself in the mirror and say, how did the Clinton's earn $200 million worth of speaking engagements? Or why they should make even $1/hour on speaking to others? We the people made them famous enough to deserve that a group would want to listen to them. Plus, we the people are feeding them with a respectable retirement income that most employees never get.
The system itself is rotten from top to bottom. Voting rights? OK, that law should say all blacks, women, religions, or sexual orientations are equal and free to vote, but ignorant blacks, women, whites ... are not permitted to vote. If an 18-year-old college student does not know who is the VP of the USA, his vote will simply dilute my highly informed and educated vote. So just to make an idiot equal to me is not fair. So, a national test must be prepared, and citizens must pass even if they have to study first. If you are unwilling to go through the effort of showing an ID to identify yourself before voting, how about if I put you through the real test? That is not diminishing an ignorant stupid citizen, just excluding stupid people from diluting the votes.
