Now that we have Obama's pick for Vice President, I was thinking about who would make the best choice for a McCain VP.
As we all know, John McCain is getting up there in years and it appears it is even a bit difficult for him to remember where he lives and how many houses he has. He forgets a lot of things like when he said, "In the 21st century nations don't invade other nations." McCain forgot about our invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.
It is also well known that McCain now greatly admires George W. Bush and wants to be just like him. Well, at least he is promoting the same economic and foreign policies as Bush. Maybe that is because McCain doesn't know that much about the economy. After all he said, "The issue of economics is not something I've understood as well as I should. I've got Greenspan's book."
Well maybe he sounds like a simpleton to you and too old to run a great empire but McCain still has a lot of fire in his belly and has been known to put together exchanges like, "No, I'm calling you a f*cking jerk" and "F**k you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room."
So when I think about McCain's temper and his NeoCon vision for Iraq calling for "make it a hundred" years of occupation. Well, there is someone that comes to mind with the same type of personality and vision for America.
That someone can do for McCain what he has done for George W. Bush. Dick Cheney would make an excellent fit into the McCain Presidential campaign of McCain=Bush.
Dick Cheney is a hot head just like McCain and likes to tell people "Go f*ck yourself." He also is younger than McCain, so when McCain has to do what Bush did, and that is take frequent time off and long vacations, he can do just what Bush did and turn over the government to Dick Cheney. Sure Cheney has had a lot of heart attacks, but since no one is sure if Cheney has any type of heart left then another attack shouldn't upset things.
Cheney has a lot of experience and knows a lot about the important things like energy. After all, Cheney had Enron help engineer America's energy policy. Enron knew how to manufacture shortages for maximum profit and Cheney loves it when his oil buddies do the same thing. So when McCain gets elected there would already be someone in place that knows about a system of fraud and manufactured shortages that are part of our current energy policies.
Cheney can also help McCain to remember important things like invasions. McCain needs to remember that it is America's policy to attack pre-emptively any country that won't bomb us back. That means that Russia and China are likely out but Iran will definitely be a good bet for the next invasion. We need someone like Cheney in there since he already knows about invading countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. Cheney also knows that in order to invade a country for strategic positioning and resources, you have to manufacture evidence in support of the invasion. Cheney has been adept at helping Bush make things up about our past invasions and he can definitely help McCain continue the lies, propaganda, and misinformation.
So as America approaches economic collapse and pushes for more wars for empire, you might think that Americans would want nothing to do with the people responsible for bringing this country to the brink of chaos. But then you don't understand the wisdom of the American people. Americans evidently are considering more of the same, and that means they need a leader that can help bring them the same old same old of the past.
Americans are conservative by nature and they don't want to upset the country and the world by doing something new unless there is a really good reason. Evidently the loss of good paying jobs, health benefits, and incredibly high prices for basic things like gasoline are not enough to make Americans take a risky chance on another Administration. John McCain, being the astute politician that he is, must understand this and that is why he is offering America "McCain=Bush" policies.
That is why I believe that McCain needs to confirm in the mind of the American public that he stands firm for another Bush Administration. That is why I believe that choosing Cheney as McCain's Vice President is the next best thing to actually choosing Bush as his Vice President. Choosing Cheney will send the message loud and clear that America need not worry about a change in direction from a McCain Presidency.
I even have a slogan that can work for the new McCain/Cheney ticket.
"McCain and Cheney, 4 More Years or Go F*ck Yourself"
