"National Guideline Standards of Decency for New American Governance Structures"

The Development of a "Standard For Standards"

We have standards of weights and measurements. These help Us to determine an equitable way to consistently portion things in the various activities of Life. These standards were agreed upon by those authorized to do so and presented to the populous for use.

Mathematical formulas are standards that provide a consistent means and methods, to solve many kinds of problems. These formulas are sometimes translated into reference tables that are also "standards". All this provides a dependable means to design many useful things, as We Evolve into Better Cultures.

Then there are standards for language usage that provides a somewhat stable center that provides a way for languages to not change too quickly and without good reason, or need. Language standards are found in almost all languages. Especially of the larger, city building cultures.

So, these examples might help Us to understand the service that standards can provide.

As I endeavored to come up with suggestions for a New Direct Democracy Constitution for America, it occurred to me that the People's deliberations and decisions could be enhanced through "Specific as to Issue Guideline Standards". Then it came to me that these specific guideline standards could, perhaps, fit into and emanate from a "Standard for Standards""as a kind of logical starting point for this whole Standards Project"which, in turn, would help Direct Democracy Governance Decision Making by We The People.

Has a standard for standards ever been developed? A definition and meaningful explanation for what a standard should be? What its uses are? What its limitations might be? Its scope? Its parameters? What it should include and exclude? When it could become a changing thing?

"White" male. 70 years old. Politically an eclectic, (confused?) mix of Conservative and Progressive. Have a dislike for capitalism, as it is practiced in the United States and as it is used to promote the tyranny of the new world order. (more...)
