Why Doesn't Somebody Build Jerusalem II?

With so much money being wasted, a nation could build an exact replica of the Old City Jerusalem. The original city is economically viable. The new city could be as well.
Certainly, building a new city is better than fighting over the old one.

If a Nation Resorts to Violence against its Citizens, it is in Peril.

On the way home from Friday services the Iranians used to chant death to the Israelis, Brits and Americans. More recently they shout death to the Russians who trained the regime's enforcers in riot control.

If the current regime can brutalize its own citizens, what are they willing to do with foreigners? The 1979 revolution gained little in terms of human rights and the 1999 students became target practice dummies. How does the latest violence appear to neighboring countries?

Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia want nuclear weapons for protection against Iran. It was a major blunder on Iran's part to divert their attention away from Israel as their main threat.

Israel Has Never Threatened Another Nation with Nuclear War

To this day Israel has not admitted to having nuclear weapons. Nobody in the immediate neighborhood ever felt the need for a nuclear weapon to counter Israel. Today, as Iran nears having the bomb, her fellow Muslims rush to make a bomb as well. The Iranian regime mows down her people in the street. What do they care about killing foreigners?
