| Iraq postponed a vote on a US-Iraq security agreement Wednesday. The US has a much looser understanding of key provisions than the Iraqi government. Included is language that bans launching attacks on other countries from Iraq, a requirement to notify Iraqis in advance of military operations and the question of Iraqi legal jurisdiction over American troops and military contractors. |
