They're waiting for the Senate majority leader to meet with Joe Lieberman about what the future holds for the Democrat-turned-independent who backed John McCain's presidential bid. Reid wouldn't comment before the meeting, but the agenda almost certainly includes discussion of Lieberman's chairmanship of the homeland security committee. |
