Meanwhile, Obama and his running mate, Sen. Joe Biden, focused on three battleground states that they and the GOP candidates will visit repeatedly: Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan.
Obama also made a Labor Day speech Monday to about 14,000 people, many of them union activists, in Milwaukee. McCain is competing in Wisconsin, but polls consistently show Obama leading there. |
