A company owned by a fugitive Saudi Arabian financier has been awarded a lucrative U.S. military contract, ABC News. Attock Refinery Ltd., a Pakistani company owned by Saudi businessman Gaith Pharaon, landed an $80 million contract to supply jet fuel to American bases in Afghanistan, even though Pharaon is wanted by the FBI. His company supplied the US military with more than $40 mil in jet fuel in '07. |
