Former AG John Ashcroft was booed during an address at the Univ of Colorado. About 20 students wearing shirts with "shame" written on them and wearing American flags over their faces, stood and turned their backs to him. Ashcroft caused an uproar when he declared Guantanamo Bay a "good place" for detainees. In addition, he defended the torture tactic of waterboarding, which he believes should be allowed it it doesn't kill. |
