|Omar Khadr, a Canadian national, was 15 when he landed in Gitmo 5 yrs ago. His lawyer has only recently learned that a witness with exculpatory evidence was not presented to the defense until recently. There are technicalities involved of whether Khadr was a lawful or unlawful enemy combatant. Deciding for the lawful status would allow Canada to intervene on his behalf, as Australia did in another case.
