|Ira Chernus raises crucial questions about the underlying foreign policy assumptions and goals of the Democratic candidates and the foreign policy elite. Although they may squabble over tactics, both major parties ultimately share the same goals, namely, the seventy-year-old drive for imperial hegemony. It's those goals that should be addressed. Unfortunately, the leading Democratic candidates aren't about go there.
