Poll judges at several voting sites in the northwest section of Baltimore County had difficulty keeping the new device - a computerized poll book - powered up during primary election day. Some precincts lacked printers that go with the poll books, so voters had to write out voting cards long-hand. Frequently, the electronic books claimed a different party affiliation for individuals than their registered affiliation of record. |
