Building a 50 mile trench around Baghdad latest answer to violence

With over 50 tortured bodies discovered in the 24 hours strewn across Baghdad joining hundreds of others murdered since Monday, U.S. military and Iraqi security forces have begun a massive effort to seal off Baghdad with a ring of reinforced checkpoints, berms, trenches, barriers and fences in an attempt to clamp down on insurgents. Damn fences/trenches popping up all over the world!
