I flew from Hawaii to LA this spring, Fortunately I had an aisle seat, and only my purse and Leo to worry about. I was also close to the rear exit of whatever plane I was in.
I say 'fortunate', as the middle-seat passenger was an aggressive obese woman who oozed into my already small seat. I really felt sorry for her companion, who had to have been a relative - they certainly were together, but not a couple.
That flight was truly awful, with a constant battle for even a bit of the arm rest, which she kept trying to raise. I used it as a protective barrier for self defense. I wrote a strong letter to Delta complaining. Now, I read this! I am sending it to my Senators and Congresswoman also.
I don't recommend the Daily Beast as a 'news' source, but this is worth reading - and sharing!
