Pierce County correctional officer Alan L.O'Neil is facing bigamy charges after his first wife discovered through Facebook that he is actually married to another woman after changing his last name, according to the Associated Press.

O'Neil married his first wife in 2001 when his name was Alan Fulk and never divorced her. The first wife found out about the newly named O'Neil's second marriage when Facebook suggested his second wife as a possible friend connection under the "People You May Know" option.
