This article is a short excerpt from a chapter by Peter Dale Scott in a new work from Global Research Publishers edited by Michel Chossudovsky and Andrew Marshall, entitled, "The Global Economic Crisis: The Great Depression of the XXI Century." In it, Scott summarizes a detailed plan to create a shadow government, loot the wealth of America, and ultimately impose martial law on the United States; a plan which began as far back as the Bay of Pigs crisis. For those whom find this article interesting, I highly recommend Scott's other books, particular, "Drugs, Oil, and War," (Rowman & Littlefield 2003), which traces the history of CIA control of the world's illicit drug trade, including into the United States, as its major source of funding, and the influence of that multi-billion dollar major industry on politics, banking, and oil interests.
