There's no law that says politics has to be rational. Fear, anger, and, yes, hope can each guide a voter's hand in the ballot booth. But most of us know that acting out of anger -- as satisfying as it might feel -- usually does not produce the best outcomes. This coming election and the months afterward will prove that. |
