DEMOCRACY ON DEADLINE . Who Owns the Media? I've often wondered who the six corporations are that are said to own the mainstream media. Finally checked it out and promptly found this. Interestingly, and depressing enough, many or most of internet news sites are owned by the media as well, according to the article.
