I was surprised to find this on wsws.org, but this interview by David North reveals Hedges to be much more radical and incisive in his world view than I have previously thought. He talks eloquently not only about how the NYT and the MSM serve the ruling elite, which is relatively well known, but also about how identity politics and the pseudo-left have betrayed the working class, e.g., by adopting the neo-McCarthyite anti-Russian narrative and focusing on "cults of personality," like Trump, "as if Trump is the central problem."
The interview is very much worth reading.
