On Aug. 11, U.S. President Donald Trump said he would not rule out the possibility of a military intervention in Venezuela.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza is reported to have asked U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres to condemn President Donald Trump’s Aug. 11 comment, when he said he would not rule out the possibility of a military intervention in Venezuela.
“The United Nations cannot, as we told its Secretary General, sit idly and not condemn these actions,” Arreaza said after his meeting with Guterres.
