The Administration continues its wrongful sanction policy against Russia for its supposed "invasion" of Crimea, by slapping sanctions on firms involved in building a $3b bridge (19km) from Russia to Crimea, which is otherwise cut off via land to Russia, except through strife-torn Ukraine. However, these sanctions will be largely ineffective against the mostly Russian companies involved. The U.S. continues to isolate itself from an increasingly multi-polar world while pursuing the Wolfowitz Doctrine of Unipolar American hegemony.
Meanwhile the bridge should be completed by 2018.
