President Trump said the CEOs quitting his advisory council aren’t taking their jobs seriously. This week, four of the leaders on one of the business councils said they were stepping down from the groups that were set up to advise Trump. The first was Merck & Co.’s Kenneth Frazier, who said he was quitting as a matter of personal conscience, after Trump failed to strongly condemn the white supremacist-led protests. Under Armour Inc.’s Kevin Plank and Intel Corp.’s Brian Krzanich said they were stepping down as well. Scott Paul, the president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing, said he was stepping down, because it was “the right thing for me to do.”
