The Supreme Court may not have pulled off a Bush v. Gore conclusion to Election 2020, but pre-election decisions, made much too close to Election Day for comfort, may have long-ranging effects, unless Congress stops them, as the Chief Justice has pointed out more than once is always a possibility. And this of course shines a light on what happens in Georgia early next January, but back to disenfranchisement accomplished before the election, which eliminated a huge number of votes. In the twenty-first century anyway, for a Democrat to win the presidency, a landslide is mandatory--visible or, much more likely, squelched. And the blues accomplished that.
