I have been carefully observing a photographing wildlife around my rural home. I do not use pesticides and I see to it that there are nesting places and food sources for wildlife. In the last couple of years, insect life has plummeted. This winter has been a winter without the smaller birds, the juncos, towhees, bushtits, kinglets and other flying friends. I do not think our corrupt capitalistic government will do anything but make it worse.
Solutions have to come from us. Things we can do to change this:
Eat only organic food--save our soil; starve out toxic agribusiness
Shop local--don't give money to Walmarts or Bezos or Gates.
Resist perscription drugs--we need to break the back of big Pharma.
Get off the consumption hamster wheel. Capitalism is killing us.
Don't vote in federal elections. They are all corrupt and imply acceptance of this path to extinction.
