The Effects of Cannabis Legalisation of Hemp Production

In 1937 when cannabis was made illegal, so was hemp. Hemp is essentially cannabis with little THC. But as cannabis has become increasingly legal, so has the use of hemp for industrial purposes, including paper, building materials, and clothes. Hemp producers more fiber per acre that cotton and can be harvested in a season, unlike trees which take quite sometime to be big enough to be harvested for paper.
